I love to get my MIBBA thoughts out as soon as possible after the event, it makes sure I’m honest with myself, and can put my true feelings out there, without having any time to really think about what I’m going to say. I’ll probably have more to say in a day or so but hey, have a read here’s my immediate thoughts…..
The Made in Bury Business Awards (Mibba) 2020 are now over, and I am more than happy to say we came away with the “HIGHLY COMMENDED” award, putting us in second place behind the winners, our good friends at LNK MOTORS
Coming second in the most prestigious business awards in Bury, having been denied any income for 4 whole months of the year (and it isn’t over yet), please tell me how I can moan at this result?
Would I have loved to hear the words “AND STILL………”, yes I would, but I don’t think coming second in 2020 is a bad result! In fact, I believe it’s an absolutely amazing result. Just look at what 2020 has thrown at us with Covid 19, people have lost loved ones far too early, families haven’t been able to see each other and 100’s of businesses have gone bust and are no longer trading, through no fault of their own. So, I think it’s an absolutely fantastic achievement to actually still have a business to not only run but is able to plan so much more for 2021.
Finally, a message to all the finalists, give yourselves a huge pat on the back, you’ve survived 2020 now go and make the most of 2021.
